Please read through the following terms and conditions before you place an order. Blessed B. Bakery takes no responsibility for your order once picked up.
Ordering
For standard orders of cakes, cupcakes, and cookies, we have a 2-week minimum lead time for orders. For weddings and other large events, orders must be placed at least 6 months in advance.
Please double-check that your order is correct before placing it. Changes are possible depending on timing and availability, but please contact us ASAP with your order number as a reference if you have changes. No changes will be accepted within 72 hours before pick-up for regular orders.
Cancellation policy
For standard orders, payment is required in full to secure your order. We are unable to offer refunds or cancellations. If your event is canceled or there are unforeseen circumstances, we will do our best to accommodate moving your order to another time if production has not yet begun.
For weddings and large events, we require a 50% deposit to hold your date. The remaining balance will be invoiced 30 days from the event date along with any final cost adjustments.
Allergens
While our kitchen is 100% gluten free, all products are made in a home kitchen that handles the following: dairy, eggs, nuts, sesame, sulfites and soy. Please note that while we have processes in place to minimize the risk of cross-contamination, our kitchen is a small, shared space and cross-contamination of ingredients is possible. If you suffer from serious or life-threatening allergies, we unfortunately cannot cater for you at this time. For any further questions about allergens, please contact us.
Storing your order
Your baked goods will keep for up to 5 days. We recommend picking up your order as close to your event as possible for the freshest possible product. If you do have to store your cake a day in advance, we recommend keeping it in a cool, dry place or refrigerating it. Allow it to reach room temperature again before serving for the best flavor and texture. We do not recommend leaving your cake in direct daylight or in temperatures above 80 degrees Fahrenheit.
Order pick-up
Please arrive on time to pick up your order. Pick-up times are agreed on at the time we verify your order, and any minor changes must be communicated at least 3 days in advance. We do not leave product outside/unattended for contactless pick-up. If you miss your pick-up window, contact us to arrange a new pick-up time.
When picking up cupcakes, we recommend that you prep your car ahead of time so you can best secure it. Make sure you have enough flat surface available for boxes, and crank up the A/C. Even if it isn’t warm out, we recommend keeping your car chilly so that your delicious buttercream stays put. When you collect your order, please do not place anything on top of the box and always hold it from the bottom, being careful not to squeeze the sides. The footwell of the front passenger seat is ideal, and a back passenger seat may work, as well.
